Massive annules marked by 16 deep striae at mid body. Lateral fields with 4 incisures. Lip region with 1 or 2 annules. Spear 13u-15u long with relatively weak knobs.
Tylenchorhynchus pachys is distinctive because of the thick tesselated cuticle, few annules on lip region and cuticular patterns of tails.
